What personal data does the app collect?

When you first install the app, it will require your Name, Mobile Phone Number and email address. The app does not collect any other personal information about you and does not collect location information.

Why does the App need this data?

Your Name, Mobile Number and email address are used to create your account and to verify your identity. This code must be entered into the app to verify your identity.

Who has access to your data?

Any schools you select in the app can see your Name, Mobile and email address. Your school can then use the My Ed system to share information with you via the mobile app and send sms messages, in-app messages and emails to you. Your personal information is not shared with any other third parties.

How is my personal information secured?

All personal information sent to and from the app is transferred via secure https:// and any personal information is stored in an encrypted state in one of our tier 4 UK based data centres.
